JUROR:  Diana Mille, Ph.D is the Director of the Thomas J. Walsh Art Gallery at the Quick Center for the Arts, Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT. The gallery focuses on contemporary art by emerging and established artists from around the world, and offers a variety of multicultural exhibitions as well as student and faculty exhibitions. Dr. Mille is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing all gallery programming, including curating exhibitions, lecturing, developing educational outreach programs and fundraising.  Prior to becoming Director of the Walsh Gallery in 1997, Dr. Mille was a Gallery Lecturer at the IBM Gallery of Science and Art in New York City.  She was Curator and Program Director at ACA Galleries and Assistant Director, American Masters Department, at Grand Central Art Galleries in New York.  Previously she was an Education Consultant at the Brooklyn Museum of Art.  Dr. Mille received a Ph.D in Art History from the City University of New York, where she also earned both an M.A. and an M.Phil. in Art History.  She received her undergraduate degree in Art History from Rutgers University.  Dr. Mille has taught at both Sacred Heart University and in the Continuing Education Department at Cooper Union.  Currently, Dr. Mille teaches a variety of art history classes at Fairfield University, including History of Photography.

Exhibition Fees:
NCSA members & students: $7 for 1 photo; $10 for 2 photos
Non-Members: $12 for 1 photo; $15 for 2 photos

Note: Please make checks payable to NCSA. Cash accepted.   No refund for work not accepted or exhibited. 
There is a 30% commission on sales.

Receiving: Tuesday, January 23rd, 10am-2pm & 6:30-8pm

Reception:  Sunday, February 4th, 4:00-6:00pm  (Awards at 5:00)

Pick up for work NOT selected by juror:  Monday January 29th, 10-2 and 6:30 to 8pm

Post-Show Pickup: Monday March 5th, 10am-2pm and 6:30–8pm (NCSA not liable for work left after this date)

Specifications:  Open to all area photographers -- professional, amateur, student, NCSA member or not.

All photographic formats and all subjects accepted.  Original work only. Work must not have been exhibited previously at the Carriage Barn.  Size limits:  48” horizontal; 72” vertical.  If you have larger work or special installlation, please contact Carriage Barn in advance.

Entries must be matted in black, white or ivory.  Black or neutral colored frames are strongly suggested.  ALL works MUST be wired and ready for hanging.  NO Brackets.  Work that does not meet the specifications will not be accepted.
